Pastel Partridge

 

HERE  are the selections you will need for this tutorial

 

Materials: Paintshop Pro, any version. Selections. Unzip selections to
your Selections folder.  All layers will be raster.

 

Open a new transparent image, 449px wide, 591px.

 

1. Create a new layer. Load selection, light green leaves. Flood fill
with color #CCC663. Selections, Float.  Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=15. Deselect.

 

2. Create a new layer. Load selection, light green leaves small. Flood fill
with color #CCC663. Selections, Float.  Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

3. Create a new layer. Load selection, dark green leaves. Flood fill
with color #BFB673. Selections, Float.  Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

4. Create a new layer. Load selection, dark green leaves small. Flood fill
with color #BFB673. Selections, Float.  Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

5. Create a new layer. Load selection, brown leaves1. Flood fill with
color #D8BFA1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

6. Create a new layer. Load selection, brown leaves2. Flood fill with
color #D8BFA1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

7. Create a new layer. Load selection, leaves on vine1. Flood fill with
color #737E45. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #454C2A, V=0,
H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

8. Create a new layer. Load selection, leaves on vine2. Flood fill with
color #737E45. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #454C2A, V=0,
H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

9. Create a new layer. Load selection, leaves on vine3. Flood fill with
color #737E45. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #454C2A, V=0,
H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=6.5. Deselect.

 

10. Create a new layer. Load selection, small branch. Flood fill
with color #D8BFA1. Selections, Float.  Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=-4, Opacity=100, Blur=15. Deselect.

 

11. Create a new layer. Load selection, large branch. Flood fill
with color #D8BFA1. Selections, Float.  Apply cutout, color #8F703F,
V=0, H=4, Opacity=100, Blur=15. Deselect.

 

12. Create a new layer. Load selection, vines. Flood fill with color
#8E8240. Deselect.

 

13. Create a new layer. Load selection, berries1. Flood fill with color
#DDBDC2. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #A886AA, V=-4, H=-4,
Opacity=100, Blur=22.5. Deselect.

 

14.Create a new layer. Load selection, berries2. Flood fill with color
#DDBDC2. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #A886AA, V=-4, H=-4,
Opacity=100, Blur=22.5. Deselect.

 

15. Create a new layer. Load selection, berries3. Flood fill with color
#DDBDC2. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #A886AA, V=-4, H=-4,
Opacity=100, Blur=22.5. Deselect.

 

16. Create a new layer. Load selection, berries highlight. Flood fill
once only with color white. Deselect. On the same layer, set the air brush
set on size=2 or 3, color white, hardness=4, opacity=100, step=50,
density=100, then spray a dot of white just where the highlight ends
and the middle color begins.

 

17. Create a new layer. Load selection, large head feather. Flood fill
with color #A8AAD0. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #595985,
V=6, H=-6, Opacity=100, Blur=15. Deselect.

 

18. Create a new layer. Load selection, small head feathers. Flood fill
with color #F5BFB1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #F09482,
V=0, H=0, Opacity=100, Blur=6.0. Deselect.

 

19. Create a new layer. Load selection, beak. Flood fill with color
#D8BFA1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #8F703F, V=-4, H=0,
Opacity=100, Blur=10. Deselect.

 

20. Create a new layer. Load selection, body. Flood fill with color
#A8AAD0. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #595985, V=0, H=0,
Opacity=100, Blur=35. Deselect.

 

21. Create a new layer. Load selection, feathers1. Flood fill with color
#F5BFB1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #F19687, V=1, H=-1,
Opacity=100, Blur=6.3. Deselect.

 

22. Create a new layer. Load selection, feathers2. Flood fill with color
#F5BFB1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #F19687, V=1, H=-1,
Opacity=100, Blur=6.3. Deselect.

 

23. Create a new layer. Load selection, eye. Flood fill with color
#D8BFA1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #322818, V=0, H=0,
Opacity=100, Blur=3.8. Apply cutout once more. Deselect.
            
24. Create a new layer. Load selection, light pink tail feathers. Flood fill with color
#F5BFB1. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #F19687, V=0, H=-0,
Opacity=100, Blur=17.5. Deselect.

 

25. Create a new layer. Load selection, dark pink tail feathers. Flood fill with color
#E9AB98. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #EC6852, V=0, H=-0,
Opacity=100, Blur=17.5. Deselect.

 

26. Create a new layer. Load selection, blue tail feathers. Flood fill with color
#A8AAD0. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #595985, V=0, H=-0,
Opacity=100, Blur=17.5. Deselect.

 

27. Create a new layer. Load selection, brown tail feathers. Flood fill with color
#DEC8A4. Selections, Float. Apply cutout, color #8F703F, V=0, H=-0,

28.  Create a new layer. Load selection, berries5. Flood fill with color

29. Create a new layer. Load selection, berries6. Flood fill with color
